Roughly one year in the making, this guitar instruction book began when a friend asked me if someone could simplify lead guitar for him. I thought, "oh sure, yeah, that's easy. I can sum it up in 4 pages." Then it became 23 and finally a book. While writing it, I had to second-guess myself at times and test out what I was saying. As a result, writing the thing made me a better player. I had fun with it, so I'm already tossing around ideas for another one.
